About the event
The first of 7 bi-weekly Workshops.
Each Workshop will focus on a different Chakra starting with the Root - Muladhara.
Mula means Root and dhara means base or support. Muladhara Chakra represents the root of our existence. It is the Chakra responsible for all our basic needs - our sense of security and safety.
These workshops can be taken individually or as a series. They are suitable for all levels of abilities, from a complete beginner to advanced yoga practitioners & teachers.
At the beginning of each class you will be given a crystal bracelet & a handout associated with the chakra we are focusing on which you can take home with you. We will have a chat about the chakra, what it is associated & how it can affect us. You will have the option to journal thoughts during this process.
You will then be guided through pranayama (breathwork), yin yoga asana (postures) & a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating yoga nidra (relaxation).
Your host Tania Murphy is a experienced certified Yoga & Yin Yoga Teacher and also a qualified Holistic Counselor & Meditation Teacher.
For Yoga Alliance Register Teachers you can request a certificate of attendance for each workshop worth 2 CPD.
