About the event

This specialised class will take place in a darkened studio, with soft, relaxing, mood enhancing lights.  The hammocks will be hung lower than normal (approximately knee height).  This will allow some movement while still remaining close to the ground.

We will begin the session by focusing our minds, calming our central nervous system & bringing our awareness inwards using traditional Pranayama (breathwork) techniques and mudras (hand gestures or energy seals).   During this time you will have the option to sit cocooned in your hammock or on the floor just gently supported by the hammock.  We will then practice some gentle movements in to the joints while seated to help to release any physical tension in the body and to help the Prana (energy & fluid) to flow and circulate the body.

You will then be given the option to lay down completely submerged in your hammock or stay grounded on your mat in Savasana to enjoy a beautifully guided rejuvenating Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation).

This practice is open to all levels and abilities, no previous experience is needed.
